Redd Kross - Neurotica

"Neurotica" is one of the lost great records of rock and roll. Recorded in 1986 with producer tommy Erdelyi (AKA Tommy Ramone), Red Kross unwittingly pioneered a look and sound that would influence countless bands as diverse as Stone Temple Pilots, Sonic Youth, Guns & Roses, Marilyn Manson, White Stripes and The Vines. This was originally released in 1987. After years in the collectors circuit, Go-Go guitarist Charlotte Caffey and singer songwriter Anna Waronker are finally making "Neurotica" available to the mainstream through their new label, Five Foot Two Records, in partnership with the Oglio Entertainment Group. This re-mastered, deluxe edition includes never seen before photos and rare extra tracks from these legendary sessions, most notably Bangle Vicki Peterson's duet on the classic Sonny and Cher's "It's The Little Things." Considering the influence that Redd Kross has had on the current crop of garage band superstars, "Neurotica" sounds as fresh today as it did when it was originally released.
