Wesley Willis passed away on Thursday August 21, 2003 at the age of 40. We here at CoolCDs.com and Oglio Records are very saddened by his passing. He left a big impression everywhere he went and with everyone he met. We'll never forget him.

Wesley was a Chicago Street artist and diagnosed chronic schizophrenic. Wesley was haunted by demons that called him names and taunted him. While most people would be severely hampered by such an illness, Wesley took it as an reason to rock. During his life Wesley attracted the attention of music business stars like White Zombie, Henry Rollins, Jello Biafra, members of the Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
